Lexington Dive - PADI Scuba Instruction
Courses and Pricing

I offer several levels of scuba certifications at a minimum of cost. All prices include instructor fees, books, dive tables, and rental gear. The only gear I require you supply is mask, fins, and snorkel. These can be purchased at local dive shop. I do have a couple pairs of mask, fins, and snorkel for your use if need be.

This certification gives you more experience under instructor supervision and vastly improves your dive skills. Deep dive and navigation dive are required. Three remaining dives are electives of your choice! See Padi website at the bottom of this page for more info on other dives offered.

FACILITIES
POOL

All pool sessions will be done in a local in ground pool.

My parents pool is 18'x36' and runs from 3 feet in the shallow end to 10 feet in the deep end. I limit my classes to five students at a time to ensure there is enough room for each student to freely move about and also give the best instructor supervision.

The majority of the classes will be done in my pool in my backyard. This is also an 18'x36' inground pool.

CLASSROOM
Classroom knowledge development sessions can be done at several locations. I am very flexible and can travel to many locations to perform these. Most likely they will be done at my house so we can move right to the confined water (pool) portion in my backyard.

OPEN WATER
Again, several sites for open water portions of your course. These include Falling Rock Park Quarry in LaGrange KY, Laurel Lake, Herrington Lake,
Lake Cumberland, Pennyroyal Quarry...etc.
I am also open to travel to complete a course. Many students opt to travel to Florida to complete their course in freshwater springs found all over the state(additional fees apply).
